FIRST LOOK: Disney Releases Trailer For Live-Action ‘Pinocchio’

For years, when it comes to content creation, Disney has found great success with its live-action remakes, of The beauty and the Beast at Aladdin, Cinderella, and Mulane. Fans are flocking to theaters to see some of their favorite animated characters come to life on the big screen. With the success of live-action remakes, Disney continues to make them, and one of those coming out relatively soon is the famous story of the toy puppet coming to life – Pinocchio.

Pinocchio was first released as an animated film in 1940 by Walt Disney Studios, and it was a groundbreaking film. While not Disney’s first animated film, it was Disney’s first animated film to win a competitive Oscar – White as snow had only won honorary Oscars. Fans immediately fell in love with Gepetto and his desire to have a son. Jiminy Cricket was the cutest conscience you could ask for, and it also sent a message to the kids (albeit scary) that parents aren’t always wrong and that they do what they do to protect you.

Disney announced the remake in 2015, but the project suffered several setbacks, including the pandemic. However, the film is complete and ready for release. While Disney only announced that the film is set to release in September, they have now shared an official trailer!

Take a look below at the teaser, shared on Twitter discussing cinema! An official trailer will be released on hello america May 31.
