Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Gets Full Character Voiceovers In Free Update

It’s no longer a silent fight

Nickelodeon’s cartoon mash-up brawler gets a much-requested addition today. Full character voiceover for all hits on the list Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl today alongside items in a free update for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

When Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl first launched, its lack of voiceover for its roster was notable. Today, GameMill Entertainment and Ludosity are updating Brawl to add exactly that.

The voices behind characters such as Spongebob (Tom Kenny) and Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Ren & Stimpy (Billy West), Garfield (Frank Welker) and Korra (Janet Varney) will be included in this new update. So now it won’t be so quiet as Spongebob and Korra fight in the arena.

The other major addition in today’s free update to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is items. The cartoon brawler launched without any items to pick up and use. Now, items like Sokka’s Boomerang, a Krabby Patty, and a Reptar Toy will be optional items.

Are you ready?

The lack of voice-over work and elements was a big detractor from Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, so it’s good to see both finally added. The update is rolling out for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Nintendo Switch owners will get it ‘soon’ according to Game Mill.

Maybe with this addition brawls will have a little more life. games like Super Smash Bros. may have developed prominent competitive scenes, but much of the charm of these platform fighters also comes from the characters themselves. Captain Falcon is visually recognizable, but so is his “FALCON PUNCH” statement.

The good news is that if you’re now itching to try Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl after his voice addition, it’s easy to do. The cartoon brawler is one of this month’s PlayStation Plus games, so subscribers can quite easily jump in and try the update for themselves.
