Pokémon Voice Actor cosplays Marnie for the character’s anime debut

Actor Yui Ogura is celebrating Marnie’s upcoming appearance in the Pokémon Master Journeys anime by cosplaying the popular trainer.

Pokémon Sword and ShieldIt has been confirmed that Marnie and Piers will appear in an upcoming episode of Pokemon Master Journeys.

As reported by Oricon, the two popular trainers will make their first animated appearance in an episode that will air in Japan on February 25. Piers will be voiced in the anime by Hiro Shimono, who demon slayer fans may recognize as the voice of the cowardly swordsman, Zenitsu Agatsuma. Marnie will be portrayed by Yui Ogura, who previously starred in black clover and end of platinum. A photo of Ogura cosplaying his new character, complete with a plush of Marnie’s trademark Pokémon partner, the type-switching Morpeko, was released to accompany the anime debuts of both characters.

The brother and sister duo were first featured in sword and shieldwhich was released for Nintendo Switch in 2019. Piers appears as the leader of Spikemuth’s neglected Pokémon Gym, while Marnie challenges the player through his adventure as one of the game’s rival characters. specialize in using dark-type Pokemon.

Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series is the 24th season of the main Pokemon lively. The season started in 2021, during the Pokemon the 25th anniversary celebration of the franchise’s debut of the original games throughout the year.
