WASHINGTON DC- Today, Priorities USA Action announced an additional investment of $2 million to encourage voters in key battleground states to verify their voter registration. This is part of an ongoing campaign to provide voters with digital content that makes necessary voting information engaging and accessible. Priorities reaffirms a long-standing commitment to fighting right-wing voter suppression and ensuring voters have all the tools they need to vote and make their voices heard.

The ads will run in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada on digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Hulu, reaching voters online through October.

Priorities USA Action specifically targets voters most likely to need to update their registration, such as inactive voters, students, people who move frequently, and young people ages 18-34. Priorities USA Action has spent years developing top-notch digital content that engages and mobilizes voters. This ad campaign mirrors the content voters already see in their feeds every day and incorporates messages that urge them to verify their registration. Ads include:

This campaign is the latest campaign in Priorities’ $30 million commitment to persuade and mobilize voters in key battleground states. Priorities consistently engaged and mobilized voters throughout the 2022 cycle, including two ad campaigns centered on the Jan. 6 Uprising and a $300,000 partnership with NARAL alerting voters to GOP efforts to ban abortion. – encouraging voters to reject this extremism at the ballot box. The priorities target critical voters in states that will decide congressional oversight and states that will be decisive in continuing to pass progressive legislation and protect basic rights.

“Priorities has always been committed to making precise strategic investments to reach voters where they are most active and seeking information,” said Danielle Butterfield, Executive Director of Priorities USA. “This cycle, our digital-first programming recognizes the content voters are already gravitating to online and tailors our messaging to hold their attention, empowering them to influence change at the ballot box. We need to use every tool at our disposal to connect with voters, let them know what’s at stake, and empower them to use their vote as the GOP continues to enact voter suppression that hurts disproportionate to communities of color.
