While HBO Max has been the de facto hub for DC movies since its launch in 2020, various streaming deals see movies bouncing around on other services from time to time. This has always been the case for most live-action Batman movies, which have made their way to just about every streaming service not named Disney+ at one point or another. In February, some of the most popular Batman films return to Netflix in the United States.
batman begins and The black Knight, the first two films of Christopher Nolan Black Knight trilogy, are added to Netflix’s lineup on February 1. That said, there’s no indication that the movies will leave HBO Max in favor of Netflix at that time. Moreover, both batman begins and The black Knight are also making their way to Hulu in early February. Starting next month, Christian Bale’s first two outings as Batman will be available on three different streaming services at the same time.
The weird thing about Nolan’s Batman movies on Netflix is that only two parts of the trilogy will be on the service. The dark knight rises, the 2012 film that concluded Bale’s Batman story, is not listed as a new arrival for Netflix or Hulu. It looks like HBO Max will remain the only place you can check out all three movies in the series.
The black Knight and batman begins aren’t the only movies hitting Netflix in early February. You can check out the full list of February 1 additions below.
