Aries – Ryu (Street Fighter)

Ryu has a beard in Street Fighter 6 and it's too much.

street fighterThe protagonist of has created many imitators. The Shotokan Karate practitioner who was looking for good fights would be replicated by almost everyone. Aries is a sign that always seeks physical competition and could best be described as a wandering world warrior. The negative aspects of Aries, such as aggression, could also come into play here. Ryu, for a long time, struggled with his inner darkness and only recently found peace.

Taurus – Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury)

Terry Bogard is the star of fatal fury, which was created as a competitor for SFII. He was a contrast to Ryu and energetic and kind, whereas Ryu can be violent and stoic. Terry would become such a hit that he would appear in Super Smash Bros..

Terry is supposed to be more “grounded” than Ryu, and despite being out for revenge, he cares about his local neighborhood. He’s a nice guy you can talk to, and he’s so responsible that he takes care of the neighborhood kids. Taurus and Terry both share these traits of reliability and kindness, making Terry the most sign-like fighting character.

Gemini – Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers)

Dark Stalkers is one of Capcom’s forgotten fighting game franchises. In other words, with the exception of Morrigan. Although she is not the protagonist, she quickly became Dark Stalkers‘ most popular character. It’s easy to see why, because like Gemini, this vampire succubus princess contains multitudes.

She has a literal split personality in Lillith, her sister who was created from her power. However, she also has another duality behind her succubus facade: a curiosity about the human world that makes her silly or sentimental. This Gemini duality of being both a responsible fiend and a curious nerd is a key part of his character.

Cancer – Scorpio (Mortal Kombat)

Hanzo Hasashi was a ninja from the Shirai Ryu clan whose family was murdered by Sub-Zero (or Quan-Chi). His intense emotion and loyalty to his family cause him to revive. Being a vengeful ghost, obviously, he possesses Cancer’s negative traits of suspicion and pessimism. However, he fights firmly on the side of good as an emotional hero.

Leo – Heihachi Mishima (Tekken)

While his son, Kazuya, was engaged in Smash Bros. and her grandson, Jin, is starring in the upcoming tekken anime, it’s important not to forget about Heihachi. The patriarch of the Mishima family is one of the best characters in tekken and the leader of the Mishima Zaibatsu, a world power he rules like a king.

Speaking of kings, Leos and Heihachi have a lot in common when it comes to their shared leadership roles and tendency towards arrogance. However, Mishima exemplifies the positive aspects of Leo. He is powerful and has a good sense of humor, as evidenced by his love of elaborate jokes.

Virgo – Nakoruru (Samurai Shodown)

Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown hangs out in a beautiful autumn forest.

samurai fight is one of the best fighting games of the 1990s. It’s a tense game where movement is risky, and the wrong move can mean brutal death. Of course, that means a high-spirited shrine maiden would logically be the star of the game. Nakoruru is a very popular character in Japan, and she’s a Virgo for sure.

Virgos are kind and hardworking, two traits that Nakoruru possesses in spades. She also demonstrates love and appreciation for nature and protects it with her falcon, Mamahaha. Her dedication to her cause and her environmentalist make her a Virgo.

Dead or alive is a controversial fighting game. That said, it still has its share of icons, including ninjas. Ninjas like the protagonist Kasumi sneak around and play support and stealth roles to exact revenge on those who have wronged them. Of course, ninjutsu skill indicates Libra personality.

Although she was trained in violence, she tries to avoid conflict. It is very similar to Libra, just as it will cooperate easily with others. She has a lot of compassion, leaving her clan to save her family. She is a fierce fighter, but also impartial.

Scorpion – Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear)

Scorpio is a sign defined by its power, but some can be suspicious, jealous and violent. However, they make up for these flaws by being truly resourceful allies. Outwardly, Sol is an intimidating guy. He is constantly on fire and has taken on the job of a mercenary. However, behind it all is a wounded scientist who was chasing the mysteries of the world with his friends. He has Scorpio’s inquisitive mind, as well as his overwhelming power.

Sagittarius – Kyo Kusanagi (King of Fighters)

The player character strikes the enemy in The King of Fighters XV

king of fighters was created as a spin-off of Fatal Fury but would eclipse it in popularity. As such, one would expect Terry or someone similar to be the hero. It doesn’t, as the initial protagonist was hot-blooded punk Kyo Kusanagi. Kyo was moving to fight in the KoF tournament and fight threats.

Travel is definitely an important part of being a Sagittarius. However, Kyo’s impatience and sass also marks him as a brash sign. However, he still has a generous and idealistic attitude, which is fitting, because KoF was one of the first fighting games to have an ongoing cinematic story. Its initial arc is about stopping climate change, and it doesn’t get more idealistic than that.

Fulgore is a cyborg soldier used by the UltraTech Corporation as an infantryman. They use him as a relentless hitman who terrifies his enemies. However, he is not without the positive attributes of a Capricorn, and his human half, Eagle, has a great appreciation for his family and tradition after his release.

Aquarius – Nightmare (Soul Calibur)

A shared image of Soul Calibur's terrifying Nighrmare and his human part Siegfried.

Siegfried has a troubled childhood and all the trauma he went through was heightened even further when he found the cursed sword, Soul Edge. This turned him into the evil knight, Nightmare, and as Nightmare, Siegfried would run away from his past and become an aloof and independent force like some Aquarians.

SoulCaliburThe main protagonist of is split between two bodies these days, but both are Aquarius. There’s Siegfried, who seeks redemption and independence from Soul Edge. Then there’s Nightmare, brought to life by Soul Edge with temper and distance. Siegfried has the positive traits of an Aquarius and Nightmare, the negative.
