Dumbo (1941)
Dumbo is a unique little elephant who was born with huge ears which make him different from other animals. He was born to an elephant named Mrs. Jumbo. Her child is then named “Dumbo” by other animals because of his gigantic ears. The film captures the tension around Dumbo’s supposed deformity and the protective mother’s efforts to make his life easier, but it leads to many tumultuous situations, which alienate his mother from him.
